Your technology budget

How much are you spending monthly on your technology?

The first question everyone wants to know is how much it will cost.

We cannot answer this question until we know how much you are currently spending.

  • We need to make sure what you currently have in place and their cost.
  • We need to make sure all your services are current.
  • We need to make sure we do not provide duplicate services.
  • We try to avoid early termination fees.
  • We need to know all the services we will support and provide.
  • We need to know the vendors we are working with.
  • We will verify our design meets all your vendors’ requirements.

We will ask for a point of contact to work with and if vendor needs to be contacted for clarification it will be done with your primary contact.

Figuring out what you pay for technology

Most businesses have no clue what they are being billed for. Here is a list of vendors that will affect our pricing. This list is not complete. We will assist in identification of all vendors.

  • Internet Provider’s monthly invoice.
  • Phone or VoIP provider’s invoice. (Phone lines could be on internet provider’s invoice.)
  • Cyber Security protection monthly invoice.
  • Answering Service Monthly Invoice.
  • Security and/or Fire system monitoring.
  • IT Provider’s Managed Services Agreement
  • Printing Managed Service Agreement or lease agreement.

What is not covered under this program

The data closet should be equipped with a rack, power, and battery backup.

Data cabling should be properly terminated on an IDC jack and Patch panel. Cat 5E cable is the minimum required. Cat 5 and below cannot be certified at 1 gigabit and networks are quickly moving to 10 gigabits.

If your IT closet is not up to specs, Wyatt Communications can provide these services or provide referrals for contractors that can complete the work to network specifications.
